Standard 4 – Faculty

Standard 4: Faculty, the university has a systematic and diverse faculty  development system, aimed in various dimensions to promote the improvement of faculty  quality and enhance departmental excellence in teaching, research, local development, and  cultural preservation at both departmental and faculty levels. It promotes academic staff to  enhance relevant teaching skills, develop faculty and researchers’ competencies in knowledge,  abilities, and research methodologies systematically.

Additionally, there is recognition and encouragement through incentives for  outstanding research and creative work by faculty and researchers. This fosters  an environment where faculty members enhance their skills in local development by utilizing  research knowledge and results. Furthermore, it promotes knowledge and understanding of  roles and responsibilities among academic staff, particularly in areas such as (1) studying,  researching, and cultural exploration, (2) conserving, promoting, developing,  and disseminating culture, (3) promoting, revitalizing, and disseminating local traditions,  (4) training the cultural instructors and personnel, and (5) conducting local cultural  preservation activities.
