Standard 4: Faculty, the university has a systematic and diverse faculty development system, aimed in various dimensions to promote the improvement of faculty quality and enhance departmental excellence in teaching, research, local development, and cultural preservation at both departmental and faculty levels. It promotes academic staff to enhance relevant teaching skills, develop faculty and researchers’ competencies in knowledge, abilities, and research methodologies systematically.
Additionally, there is recognition and encouragement through incentives for outstanding research and creative work by faculty and researchers. This fosters an environment where faculty members enhance their skills in local development by utilizing research knowledge and results. Furthermore, it promotes knowledge and understanding of roles and responsibilities among academic staff, particularly in areas such as (1) studying, researching, and cultural exploration, (2) conserving, promoting, developing, and disseminating culture, (3) promoting, revitalizing, and disseminating local traditions, (4) training the cultural instructors and personnel, and (5) conducting local cultural preservation activities.
