Standard 6: Governance, the university’s management system establishes necessary policies to govern operations in order to achieve its mission and goals, encompassing both medium and long-term plans. These policies are outlined in the Rajabhat University of Nakhon Si Thammarat’s Strategic Plan for the years 2021-2024, aiming to set directions and scope of work to fulfill the university’s vision and missions, including its 5 missions. These policies are implemented through the definition of visions, strategies, objectives, indicators, measures, projects, budgets, and responsible parties in both medium-term and annual operational plans. This ensures that university-level units, faculties, and program levels all work towards achieving the set objectives. Additionally, management practices are in place to achieve the university’s mission and goals in four dimensions: (1) Organizational Structure: The university organizes its structure into management units, academic units, support and service units, and management units. Authority is decentralized to the departmental level for operational efficiency. (2) Human Resource Management: This system involves workforce planning, recruitment, development, retention, and utilization of personnel at all levels and positions.
(3) Financial Management: Budget management includes budget preparation, expenditure, and disbursement according to regulations set forth by the Ministry of Finance, covering both government budget and revenue budget. (4) Facility Management: Procurement of learning and operational support materials, equipment, facilities, buildings, and information technology is ensured to be adequate for operational and educational activities. Additionally, infrastructure, public utilities, and various amenities are developed to meet higher standards
